**Your new company**

This Government Agency provides Grants to a range of varied industry specific enterprises to allow them to build research capability, supports individuals and enterprise to transition health into practise leading to more desirable outcomes. Currently they have a need for an experienced APS6 Grant Manager to join their high performing and collaborative team.

**Your new role**

This is dynamic section leads a number of grant policy issues, as well as managing funding and assessment of grants rounds for applicants to help stimulate and advance and support Australian Enterprise and enhance knowledge on issues that would benefit Australian enterprise. Duties of the position are inclusive of, but not limited to the following;
- Leading the planning, analysis and delivery of these research grants projects
- Undertaking data analysis and liaison with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Identify research gaps and needs
- Drafting a variety of briefs and grant opportunity guidelines
- Establishing Peer Review Panels
- Perform Secretariat functions

**What you'll need to succeed**

To succeed in this role, you will be a high-performing individual with demonstrated experience undertaking grants and project management activities. As well as this, you will have:

- Understanding of grants administration or grant program management
- Strong analytical and critical problem-solving skills
- Proactive and flexible approach to managing tight deadlines and milestones
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills, as well as interpersonal, negotiation and liaison skills
- Established experience with developing strategic written and oral communication
- Post-graduate or equivalent qualification in a health, science or medical related field could also be beneficial
