We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team on a permanent, fulltime basis. Reporting to the Financial Controller, and working within a small team, this is a great opportunity for a motivated ‘number cruncher’ to supplement our department. This is a role where you can develop your current experience and knowledge in a busy hotel finance operation.
This role revolves around debtor management, and duties include (but not limited to):
- daily validation and actioning of invoices
- daily receipting of payments
- daily credit card reconciliation
- monthly petty cash reconciliation
- liaising with internal and external customers regarding their accounts
- maintain an orderly filing system
- adhoc tasks as required
- possess a Finance or Business qualification, with a minimum of 12 months experience working in an accounts environment using computer-based systems
- have a talent for all things finance, and an ability to adapt and learn quickly
- be analytical, with an eye for detail and proven problem-solving skills
- demonstrate an ability to plan, prioritise and organise work to meet deadlines
- be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- enjoy working in a small and supportive team, with the ability to work autonomously
- be able to provide a current National criminal history check
- have unlimited work rights in Australia
