**About the role**:
As the Head of Retail you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of fashion retail operations, driving business growth, and ensuring operational excellence. This is a critical leadership role where you will have the opportunity to shape their strategic direction, develop a high-performing team, and foster a culture of innovation and success.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute the company's strategic plans and objectives, aligning them with market trends, customer demands, and business goals.
- Drive sales growth by implementing effective marketing strategies, optimizing product assortment, and identifying opportunities to enhance the customer experience.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track business performance, identify areas for improvement, and take proactive measures to achieve financial targets.
- Lead a team of department heads and managers, providing guidance, coaching, and fostering a collaborative work environment that encourages creativity and accountability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, industry influencers, and strategic partners, to maximize business opportunities.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to anticipate market changes and capitalize on new opportunities.
- Ensure seamless operations across all areas, including merchandising, inventory management, logistics, customer service, and store operations.
- Drive a customer-centric culture, championing exceptional service standards and ensuring that customer satisfaction remains at the core of all business activities.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop and execute effective brand strategies, advertising campaigns, and promotional activities.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and sales data to make data-driven decisions and recommend actions to improve performance and profitability.
- Oversee financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, expense control, and financial reporting.

**What you'll need**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Proven experience (minimum 10 years) in a senior leadership role within the fashion retail industry.
- Strong business acumen with a track record of successfully driving business growth and achieving financial targets.
- Extensive knowledge of the fashion industry, market trends, and consumer preferences.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse workforce.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and use insights to drive decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to lead change, drive innovation, and adapt to a dynamic business environment.
- Proficiency in retail technology and systems, including POS software, inventory management, and CRM tools.
