**About us**:
AKT Engineering is looking for a full-time experienced Metal Fabricator to join our team. This is an immediate opportunity, and the position will be based in Malaga (WA, 6090).

**Position**:
As a Metal Fabricator, your tasks & responsibilities will include:

- Analysing blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to ascertain project requirements.
- Choosing, cleaning, and preparing metal materials.
- Employing hand tools, flame cutting torches, and metal cutting machinery to carve out marked metal sections and shapes.
- Molding and curving metal components and pipes using both manual and automated tools, as well as through heating and forging.
- Positioning components for assembly using manual tools and precise measuring devices.
- Uniting metal sections through diverse welding methods, bolting, and riveting.
- Inspecting welds for bead width, depth of penetration, and accuracy.
- Perfecting items through cleaning, polishing, filing, and immersion in acid-based solutions.
- Refining and smoothing welds through filing, chiseling, and grinding.

To be successful, you will need:

- At least 5+ years of professional experience as a Boilermaker/Welder
- Strong Attention to details.
- AQF Certificate III

**Remuneration**:
Annual remuneration will be $70,000.00 + superannuation.
