Are you looking for a flexible, challenging position where you can showcase your skills as a metal fabricator

We are looking for someone to join our small, multi-skilled team.

There is a wide variety of interesting work, including structural steel, light aluminium, balustrading and architectural steelwork.

We're looking for someone looking to do accurate, challenging work. You will be comfortable welding light steel and aluminium, structural steel, and familair with rolling and bending. You will be comfortable working with MIG. TIG is handy, but not essential. You will be able to work from drawings, but you don't expect everything to be handed to you. You will be able to work with artist concepts and designers to refine the design and make the products in a better way. We are also happy to work with you to round out your skills if you feel you are weak in any of these areas.

You have a lot of autonomy. The metal shop is yours, but you are still part of a team, not a cog in the machine. We can adjust your hours and work schedule to fit around your family, lifestyle and interests. Occasionally we do some site work, but most often it is based in the workshop. We like our weekends, so we try to keep our work schedule to Monday to Friday.

We are keet to start the right person as soon as possible. in a permanent, full time position - we don't do casual to permanent.
