_**We are an approved In Home Care Provider on the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers.**_

We are currently seeking a qualified, caring, experienced and professional Educators to work with a Family in Oxley, Brisbane caring for one child.

The family is requiring support to assist with the care of a 8 year old who has ASD. The mum is a shift worker and requires approx. 24 hours of care each week. The shifts will include before school care 5am to 9am, after school care 5pm to 11pm, overnights 11pm to 9am and will vary each week.

**Days and Times required**:
Days and hours vary min 24 hours of care required each week.

**Hourly rate**:
$34.15 per hour (inclusive of Superannuation)

**Start date**:
ASAP

**Job tasks and responsibilities**
- Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with the family and child
- Experience in complex needs/challenging behaviours
- School drop off and pick up
- Overnight care

Northern Rivers IHC does not charge new or existing IHC Educators any registration fees. However, we do provide Educators with outstanding support, with many services and materials free of charge.

**Prerequisites are essential for all In Home Care Roles**:

- _**Certificate III in Children’s Services**_
- _**Hold a current First Aid and CPR Certificate - Childcare First Aid Training HLTAID0011 and HLTAID009**_
- _**Blue Card and Police Clearance**_
- _**Liability insurance (once successfully placed)**_
- _**Medical Clearance**_
- _**Child Protection (refresher required every 2 years)**_
- _**ABN (this role is for a self employed/contractor)**_
- _**Photo ID**_
- _**PRODA RA (the office will assist you with this)**_

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16 per week

**Salary**: $35.50 per hour

Licence/Certification:

- Blue Card (preferred)
- Police Clearance (preferred)
- ABN (preferred)
- Child Protection Refresher (preferred)
- Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care (preferred)
- HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting (preferred)
- HLTAID009 - Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (preferred)
