**Reporting to**:Manager Pharmacotherapy Network
- The Administration Officer - Pharmacotherapy & Harm Minimisation plays a key role in supporting the smooth functioning of programs focused on opioid pharmacotherapy and harm reduction. Working across a multidisciplinary team, the role helps to ensure that internal operations, sector engagement, and project delivery are well-coordinated and effectively managed. With a focus on accuracy, communication, and collaboration, this position contributes to the overall success of programs aimed at improving community health and wellbeing._

**Key responsibilities**:

- Provide general administrative support to the Pharmacotherapy & Harm Minimisation team
- Assist with coordination and communication across key sector networks
- Maintain accurate records and data to support reporting and evaluation
- Support financial processes and documentation, including invoice tracking
- Contribute to the organisation and delivery of harm reduction initiatives
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of internal and external communications
- Support team members and leadership with project coordination tasks
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and record-keeping standards

**What you will bring to the team**:
**Strong administrative**experience** with a solid understanding of harm minimisation principles and familiarity with Needle and Syringe Programs (NSP).

**Excellent interpersonal and communication skills**, with the ability to engage empathetically and professionally with clients, staff, and stakeholders.

**Proficiency in written communication,** including accurate record-keeping and the ability to prepare clear and concise reports.

**Advanced computer literacy**, particularly in Microsoft Office and data management systems; knowledge of Sage is an advantage, but a willingness to learn is essential.

**Highly organised and detail-oriented**, with proven ability to manage competing priorities, use initiative, and uphold the values of Ballarat Community Health in all aspects of work.

**Secondment opportunity**:
A secondment is a temporary transfer to another role, usually for a fixed period, after which the employee will return to their original position unless otherwise agreed.
