**_ What you’ll be doing_**
The Manager Corporate Partnering is responsible for managing the shared service partner model for the delivery of key corporate service functions across the Cancer Institute NSW. Working closely with the Pillar Shared Services teams across the Ministry of Health and HealthShare NSW, this role leads a team in building change management and continuous improvement for the provision of partner services to support the organisational delivery of key strategic outcomes. The position takes a lead role in managing key relationships across the Institute and manages the service agreements with the shared services to ensure key performance requirements are met and a quality assurance and continuous improvement approach to the delivery of corporate services across the Institute is established and maintained.
In this role, you will be required to:
- Lead the Corporate Partnering team to support the achievement of the strategic goals and corporate service requirements of the Cancer Institute, with a particular focus on achieving high performance outcomes. Provide leadership and direction to effectively manage operational issues and ensure efficient service delivery and build a performance based, innovative, customer-focused and accountable work culture.
- Develop, implement and maintain effective communication and change management processes to ensure information is disseminated throughout the organisation and change is managed in an effective and timely manner.
- Work with stakeholders to lead the design and implementation of organisational frameworks and processes for corporate services and partnership models (including financial management models, budget management, forecasting, business case development and procurement management) which will align to and maximise the value from the shared corporate services.
- Lead a team in the delivery of a reliable and efficient partnership model for corporate services, including expert financial management advice, involving financial analysis, funding and activity modelling and reporting to support activity-based funding and performance agreements, and the resolution of financial issues.
- Manage and oversee the service agreements with the Ministry of Health and HealthShare NSW to ensure key performance requirements for corporate service delivery are met (including finance, procurement and people and culture functions), and oversee timely delivery and resolution of issues.
- Establish and lead an ongoing quality assurance program for continuous improvement of business partnering and shared services, seeking regular feedback from stakeholders to inform and guide the shared service delivery models. Develop risk management and controls processes to support service delivery in accordance with key outcomes and objectives,and monitor and manage new and emerging risks to ensure mitigation of risks with appropriate action.
- Build and maintain effective and influential working relationships with Cancer Institute stakeholders and build a strong partner network with the shared service providers, and across the NSW Health system and associated organisations.
- Prepare a range of strategic and operational documents as required including briefing papers, discussion papers, reports, submissions and responses to information requests in relation to organisational performance and business processes for finance and human resources functions.
