**About the position**

The Scots College is an innovative and creative teaching and learning environment for boys T-12. We pride ourselves on our quest for excellence, our faith and tradition and a culture of leadership through teams for both our students and staff.

The Scots College Boat Club in Sydney has a long history and has been involved in rowing since 1914. We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Junior Rowing Coordinator to coordinate years 7-9.

This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing rowing program with some exciting results that would indicate continued success. You will be required to travel between our main campus at Bellevue Hill and our boat houses located at Gladesville and Point Piper.

This is a full time fixed-term opportunity and is open to both teaching and non-teaching applicants.

**Essential Requirements**
- Relevant coaching qualifications (min. level 1)
- Demonstrated success with junior crews and/or program
- Experience in coordinating both a team of coaches and large groups of students effectively
- Experience in scheduling, time management, operating within a wider school framework and managing students with multiple, often competing, commitments
- Be a confident and collaborative team player and an excellent communicator

**Desired
- Previous experience working in a school environment is desirable
- Having teaching qualifications/experience would be advantageous but not essential
- Rowing facility management experience would be advantageous but not essential
