**About the Role**:
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced full-time Customer Service/Logistics Officer to join our AB Biotek Asia-Pacific, South Africa and Latin America business. Reporting to theCommercial Director Asia-Pacific & South Africa, you will provide superior service to our distributors and customers.
You will be expected to maintain a high level of service so that we retain our valued customers and become ‘first to mind' as a reliable supplier. You will also have the commercial nous to understand certain countries/regions may get greater focus as they are key customers with greater support requirements.
**Additional responsibilities include**:
- Processes Orders, Invoicing, Credits and Warehouse Transfers (manual and system processing)
- Captures and documents all transactions pertaining to processing, stock movements, deliveries, receipts and invoicing of all activities involving Logistics, Sales and Customer Service
- Manages logistics of each shipment such as sourcing out freight quotations, shipping schedules, booking of shipments and delivery of documentation
- Prepares and provides the requested documentation from our valued customers such as C Of A's / MSDS' / Product Specifications / FDA's / Health Certificates & other declarations
- Participates in stocktake and assist in the reconciliation of Finished Goods stock
- Handles Sample requests from Sales People and External Customers
- Liaises with the Product Manager in relation to set up of new SKUs to ensure timely despatch & accurate delivery of all orders
- Works with our global demand planning teams to manage stock availability and delivery timelines to our international sister business units
In addition you will have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, confidence navigating accounting management systems such as SAP and the ability to work independently and handle detailed information with a high level of accuracy and a good eye for detail.
This role will suit someone who enjoys working in a flexible team environment; someone who likes to take initiative and has the ability to prioritise their workload and multi-task. An Asian language such as Chinese would be advantageous to link with customers.
