Technology Business Manager

The **Technology Business Manager** works closely with Technology, Finance, Legal, and Procurement leaders to bring a business focus to the value Technology brings to IDP.

**Responsibilities***
- Manage the process of IDP Technology’s Corporate Financials -Bring discipline, visibility, and alignment to the management of IDP Technology’s core financial management.
- Act as Product Owner for IDP’s IT Financial Management solution, its design, operation, and evolution.
- Evolve the Cost Management Framework for IDP Technology’s Corporate Financials -Utilizing the available constructs of the Corporate Financial system and processes, review and evolve use of the available capabilities to optimise the alignment of Technology’s costs to Business Outcomes.
- Business Modelling, Research and Analysis
- Examine IDP Technology’s tends and directions in context of business changes and trajectories. Identify areas for focus and deeper analysis.

**What we're looking for***

**Essential***
- Accountability for the full scope of Management Accounting functions in a Technology context including Budget, Forecasting and Actuals analysis.
- The business acumen, fiscal understanding, and technology awareness to understand and clearly explain the relevance of financial information to Technologists and Technology directions in the context of cost and business value.
- Understanding of basic Technology terminology and able to relate it to financial concepts.
- Passionate about embedding financial information into business decisions.
- A desire to continue to learn, develop and lead as technology, business context and capabilities evolve.

**Desirable***
- Experience with FinOps in a consumption-based Cloud context.
- Previous experience in a globally distributed organisation
- A natural leadership style that guides and assists an organisation to change.
