Design Manager

**Exciting opportunity for a Design Manager or Senior Project Manager with design experience to join our renowned VIC Rail team at WSP.**

By joining our experienced and innovative rail team, you would be an instrumental team member and be part of the continued, successful delivery of projects within our range of diverse rail project portfolio within Victoria and beyond.

This is a diverse role that will allow you to continue to grow your career at the highest level - one that would no doubt add more value to your current design experience and skillset, plus also see you be part of the future footprint of communities in Victoria for generations to come.

As we are a national business model, you will also have the opportunity to work on both local and interstate projects and for a broad range of government and private sector clients.

**What we'll love about you**:

- Have proven experience in the leadership of the delivery of large Rail, Roads & Highways detailed design projects
- Be a qualified Engineer or equivalent
- Have a proven ability to develop and expand client networks
- Hold strong communication skills - both verbal and written including strong report writing skills
- Be a demonstrated team player
- Be capable and willing to mentor junior personnel and develop internal capability
- Have a proven track record of managing teams and delivering large detailed design multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects on time and to budget
- Hold a sound understanding of commercial principles
