We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Civil Designer to join our Brisbane team. **Responsibilities**:

- Provide technical input into projects as required
- Undertake design and drafting of civil engineering projects, including roads and drainage systems an early intermediate level
- Coordinate design and drafting activities with drafters to ensure that drawing sets meet company standards
- Utilise AutoCAD, 12D and other design software to create accurate plans and profiles
- Collaborate with senior designers and engineers to develop project solutions and ensure design accuracy
- Develop innovative solutions to problems and take necessary action to expedite the successful accomplishment of assigned projects
- Prepare reports and documentation, and manage project budgets
- Ensure quality control processes for each project are implemented and documented

**Skills and Expertise**:

- Minimum 2 years of Civil Design experience
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Strong communication and relationship building with clients and stakeholders
- Experience in the use of 12D software (Civil 3D, Drains & MUSIC), Proficient in AutoCAD
- Technical Drawing and presentation Skills
- Familiar with Australian standards, with a drive to learn and grow in the field of civil design
- Ability to work well in a team environment and contribute to group projects
- Flexibility with working on various types of projects and tasks, working to strict deadlines
- A keen eye for detail and accuracy
