Our client is a leader in civil engineering, design and consultancy. Your Role & Impact

As a Civil Designer or Civil Design Engineer you will:

  • Deliver civil design packages: roads, drainage, lot grading, sewer & water, stormwater and external works.
  • Prepare detailed CAD / 12D (or Civil 3d) design drawings, calculation reports, specifications, and documentation.
  • Undertake technical design and modelling (e.g. stormwater, flood, drainage), and constructability reviews.
  • Liaise with internal teams, clients, consultants, and infrastructure authorities.
  • Ensure designs comply with codes, standards, and local authority requirements.
  • Contribute to innovation, optimisation, and continuous improvement of design practices
  • For Seniors: mentor junior designers, manage subconsultants, review designs, and interface with project leads.

What We're Looking For

  • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering.
  • Proven experience (3+ yrs for mid-level, 5-10+ yrs for senior) in civil development design.
  • Proficiency in civil design software (e.g. 12D or Civil 3d, AutoCAD, DRAINS, TUFLOW, MUSIC, or equivalents).
  • Strong understanding of stormwater, drainage, grading, roads and earthworks.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A keen eye for technical detail, quality, and sustainable outcomes.
  • You'll require either Citizenship or Permanent Residency or an Unrestricted Visa with Full Working Rights.
