The project coordinator role with the guidance of the general manager will require management skills including basic planning, relationship management and contracts administration to ensure successful delivery of our projects.

We are a small construction business which has grown with some larger commercial projects. The works are new build childcares with some refurbishments to industrial and medical facilities also. We rarely take on residential construction however could possibly carry out one to two residential projects a year maximum.

We are interested in quality and driven personnel who have pride and care with what they do. We focus on efficiency and making sure the process is streamlined and technology-driven firm. You will be on several projects at one point however generally not more than two to three depending on size and complexity. We pride ourselves on a work-life balance and family-friendly work ethic. We work hard however, we know that there must be a balance to ensure longevity of our business and its people.

The Following Responsibility and Traits are Required from a Project Coordinator:

- Well presented and well spoken
- Is technology savvy and has basic knowledge and experience with microsoft office, accounting software, microsoft project etc
- Prepare planning permits and other relevant documents for submission to the council for construction projects.
- Work in conjunction with the General Manager to develop effective programs for all on-site work.
- Monitor all financial aspects of the contract to ensure projects run to budget including:

- Develop and issue draft progress claims to clients on monthly basis to enable client acceptance prior to production of an Ark Tax Invoice
- Compile a tender analysis for the subcontractor packages
- Maintain and update records of all correspondence related to contract activity.
- Subcontract administration
- Participate in design meetings with architects and service consultants and ensure accurate minutes are kept of proceedings.
- Compile and present to the client monthly, financial basis, financial reports relating to job/contract specific issues.
- Maintain an effective transmittals trail of all correspondence relating to the contract including design changes and requests for information.
- React promptly to consultant request for information and ensure all relevant documents are kept up to date always.

Pay: Up to $80,000.00 per year
