**Regional Internal Communication Manager**

**About the role**

We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified communication manager to enable consistent high quality internal communication within the region. This role will support the regional leadership team by providing communication and organisational change advice as well as developing and managing the implementation of a regional communication plan.

With the organisation going through transformational change this role will lead on transformation communication in the region enabling high levels of employee engagement.

To provide a focal point for internal communication in the region ensuring seamless interface with the global internal communication team. This role will be a member of the global internal communication team, managed in region by the Regional Head of Marketing. The role of the Senior Engineer is to conduct professional engineering work without detailed supervision. He/she is responsible for providing guidance and oversight to multiple projects, as well as training and mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities and tasks:

- Produce, maintain and manage a regional internal communication plan.
- Ensure regional internal communication is aligned with global messaging.
- Input into global internal communication planning to ensure global communication reflect regional requirements.
- Provide communication and organization change advice and support to the regional leadership team and other leadership functions in the business.
- Support the global internal communication team with projects that are directly relevant to the quality of communication in the region.
- Produce, review, and approve content for regional internal communication.
- Work closely with the HR global business service to ensure that statutory requirements and risks are addressed in change communication.
- Solicit feedback on internal communication in the region and use that to drive improvement.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication activities.
- Ensure adherence to BMT communication policies and processes.
- Develop and maintain communication channels in collaboration with global IT and the global internal communication team.
- Ensure regional internal and external communication are joined up through direct engagement with the regional Marketing Team

**About you**
- Professional experience in corporate communication or change management.
- A passion for internal communication and employee engagement.
- An academic qualification, professional qualification or equivalent professional experience in change management or communication, including Prosci or APMG.
- Exceptional written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Planning and project management skills.

The following criteria are not essential however, highly regarded:

- Previous professional experience in leading organisational change.
- Practical experience of tools including sharepoint and Adobe.
- Experience in developing and managing internal communication plans.
- Experience in developing and managing change communication programs.
- A degree level qualification relevant to corporate communication.
