**The Role**

Hudson has partnered with a high-profile government department seeking the services of a contractor at the SES Band 1 level to assist in the design and implementation of an updated governance framework that supports one of their ongoing programs. The contractor will work with senior leaders within the program, its external jurisdictional partners and regulators within the sector.

If you have experience at the SES Band 1 level, have a clearance and are based in Canberra, this just might be the role for you.

**Duties**:

- Facilitate governance, vision and benefits reset planning and discovery sessions with Commonwealth and State and Territory governments and other stakeholders to capture perspectives of the program and the purpose, frequency and authority of governance forums
- Synthesise stakeholder feedback to develop recommendations on updates to the vision and benefits statements and design a model for the program governance and, if required, assist in facilitating stakeholder agreement to these products
- Establish the implementation plan and schedule for updating governance forum terms of reference and commencement of agreed governance arrangements
- Assist in implementing the approved governance model and arrangements, if required.

**Do You Have?**
- Proven experience in analysing and synthesising narratives on the vision and benefits of programs / initiatives being delivered to support large industry sectors.
- Proven experience developing and implementing program governance frameworks for interjurisdictional programs within an Australian Government context.
- Demonstrated understanding of, and experience coordinating, large programs involving technical/ICT, legislation, policy, multi-lateral stakeholder engagement and change management elements.
- Proven written and oral communication and interpersonal skills including demonstrated ability to build and sustain positive relationships with stakeholders and actively contribute to a positive collaborative multilateral engagement culture.
- Capacity to engage with complex issues and display sound judgement, resilience, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent problem solving, and analytical thinking capability, with an ability to effectively capture requirements and identify solutions.
- Strong communication skills, strong written skills
