Our customer is a family-owned and operated food distributor company committed to delivering convenience to their customers. They service over 6000 lines with a geographic reach across Queensland and Northern New South Wales. The Wholesale meat department offers a wide range of portioned meat, whole primal carton meat and value-added meat for the time-conscious customer.

**The roles**:
We have an opportunity for a Production Supervisor the Meat department, based in Darra. This role is responsible for effectively assisting the Production Manager to execute operations by:

- Supervising the team in the Production Room
- Provide leadership and guidance
- Overseeing the execution of production plans and quality records
- Leading the overall turnaround of processed orders
- Reviewing daily performance reports and introducing corrective actions

**About you**:
In such a highly competitive marketplace, we're looking for someone who stands out, which means you must have:

- Previous supervisory experience
- Trade Certificate in Butchery or relevant meat industry experience including meat processing and related equipment
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to think on your feet
- Great attention to detail and confident in making and executing decisions
- Exceptional organisation and people management skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and take ownership of the role
- A strong sense of teamwork and collaboration
- Prior experience with ERP systems is highly advantageous
- Keen to grow and develop within your role

The department is staffed from 3am to 7pm, hours of work may vary between shifts depending on business requirements. Working on a rotating roster is required.
