As a **Casual Trainer & Assessor**, you’ll deliver both accredited and non-accredited training and assessments across operational competencies aligned with **TLI42622 Certificate IV in Train Driving**, including:

- Shunting
- Safeworking
- 2nd Person
- Rollby
- Driving Under Instruction
- Operating Within Defined Limits
- Verification of Competency (VoC)

This role involves both classroom and practical field delivery across various client and training sites. It’s perfect for professionals seeking flexibility while continuing to make a real impact in rail.

**Job responsibilities**

**Essential**:

- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122 or TAE40116)
- Certificate IV in Train Driving (TLI42622)
- Experience delivering training and assessment in rail operations
- Strong knowledge of RTO compliance, safety systems, and RSNL
- Ability to meet Cat 1 rail medical requirements
- Willingness to travel for training delivery across NSW and beyond

**Desirable**:

- Experience conducting VoCs across various operators
- Familiarity with SMS implementation or digital learning platforms
