**Description**

Our specialist Cardiology clinic in Wetherill Park is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our fast-paced, customer-focused team. The role is a full-time, permanent position working 4 days through the week (days can be negotiated) and Saturday.

Reporting to the Doctor, you will be responsible for providing high-level reception duties and administrative services whilst ensuring the delivery of exceptional service to patients and referrers. Comprehensive training will be provided.

Remuneration is negotiable and _starts from $30 per hour based on experience._

**What You’ll Do**
- Act as the first point of contact for patients and provide excellent customer service both face-to-face and over the phone.
- Book and confirm patients for appointments and consultations.
- Billing and Receipting at the time of appointment.
- Accurately process relevant paperwork including data entry and managing patient records and filing of patient notes.
- Continuously liaise with the team to ensure efficient processes.
- Additional training will be provided to learn the performance of ECGs, Holter Monitors, and other tasks as required.

**Who You Are**
- Previous experience in a medical administration or practice management role is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent patient care and customer service.
- Strong organisation and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven experience in working successfully both independently and in a team environment.
- Knowledge of patient billing systems and related Medicare funding mechanisms would be highly valued.
- Exceptional phone manner and ability to handle a high volume of patient inquiries.
- High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Flexible approach to work and ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $30.00 per hour

- Every weekend
- Flexible hours
- Monday to Friday
- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Wetherill Park, NSW 2164: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Medical receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative: 1 year (preferred)
