**About the Role**

As a Finance Officer at Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital you will be joining our collaborative, supportive and friendly team and be responsible for delivering a high level of customer service with regards to banking, accounts receivable/payable, general administration, monthly accounting and finance reporting functions. This opportunity is for a permanent full time basis reporting to the Director of Finance and Support Services.

**About You**
- Previous experience in accounts payable and receivable role in a large organisation
- Demonstrated understanding of collection procedures in relation to accounts receivable activities
- Understanding of GL accounts and coding procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- High degree of attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated problem solving skills and sensitivity to customer’s needs
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Experience using SAP Finance system (Desirable)
- Experience working in a health care environment (Desirable)

Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital opened on 4 November 2013, offering a comprehensive range of inpatient and day services across a wide range of specialties. Facilities include 6 state-of-the-art operating theatres, two cardiac catheter laboratories, a minor procedure room, a day surgery unit, an 11-bed intensive care unit/coronary care unit and a 9-chair day therapy unit.

**Requirements**:
