Business Bank (BB) offer a wide range of services and solutions to our small to medium enterprise customers and our regional and agribusiness customers.
**Your Team**
Small Business Banking Broker is primarily responsible for the origination and retention of new to bank and existing clients. Clients are sourced from accredited intermediaries and Small Business Banking Broker facilitates and supports relationships nationally.
**Your Responsibilities**
In your role as a Relationship Executive - Portfolio Management in Queensland, you will be responsible for:
- Managing a portfolio of Small Business clients with Business Lending up to $3M, with a focus on growth and retention, delivering on CBA’s purpose to Build a brighter future for all.
- Actively pursuing the identification of opportunities to assist clients meet their day to day financial needs and medium-term goals by gaining an in depth understanding of client needs and providing them with solutions.
- Engaging clients in the course of facility documentation to ensure relationship continuity is delivered in the client’s timeframe and satisfies their financial needs.
- Engaging and collaborating with specialists to deliver the most appropriate tailored financial solutions.
- Maintaining a close relationship with Risk Management, promoting an in depth understanding of the client, industry and transaction specifics to maximise efficiency in the lending and relationship management process.
- Strong management of Risk responsibilities including portfolio compliance obligations such as Annual Reviews, Facility Maturities and arrears monitoring.
- Building a network of local internal and external contacts to assist the origination of new business, new clients and the gathering of competitive intelligence.
**Your Skills and Experience**
- Extensive experience in managing a client portfolio with proven business originations outcomes.
- Demonstrated knowledge of bank products and financial services products and services
- Experience in a sales or relationship management role in Business Banking or Corporate banking is desirable
- Numerical / analytical ability and accuracy
- Tertiary qualifications in commerce, business or related field are desirable
