We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join our eCommerce finance team on a permanent basis. We are investing in state-of-the-art technology, including two brand new Customer Fulfilment Centres for online orders, to help deliver on our strategy of becoming an omnichannel retailer. **About the Role**:
You will partner with the GM Online Merchandising & Operations to proactively manage key expense lines, including store rem, van costs and supply chain to ensure delivery in line with budget and strategic objectives.

As customers’ needs and the retail landscape are changing, our Online business is key to Coles’ future success and in this role, you will work at pace alongside the Commercial and Operations team to support the strategic growth agenda and drive value creation. You will also;
- Perform analysis and provide insight to help the business understand performance and drive action to address issues/leverage opportunities
- Partner with business to ensure delivery of Smarter Selling savings
- Own Corporate Plan & budget process for eCommerce, focusing on continuous improvement to ensure alignment across stakeholders (e-comm & cross-functional) and strategy
- Own period performance reporting & forecasting to Group and eCommerce LT
- Own relationship with Operations finance to ensure alignment on eCommerce operating expense P&L lines within overall supermarkets’ costs
- Take finance lead on investment appraisal for Operations initiatives including business case and approval process, monitoring results and PIRs
- Partner with the Ocado finance team to ensure integration of processes, establishment of reporting and alignment on future impacts of program to eCommerce expense lines
- Define reporting suite for eCommerce Operations, supported by Data & Reporting team, to ensure insightful and action-focused reporting
- inancial process governance, risk management and control

**About you and your skills**:
We are looking for a passionate Finance Business Partner that understands the value of harnessing strong commercial relationships and can make an impact on key projects. You will also;
- CA/CPA or similar business qualification or near with commercial awareness and business focus
- Experience in the Retail or FMCG sectors will be highly regarded, alternatively a big 4 or mid-tier environment
- Proven experience in preparing, understanding and analysing financial information to identify business opportunities/challenges and recommend course of action
- Proven ability to challenge & influence key business stakeholders (finance and non-finance) to achieve best for business outcomes
- Experience of presenting financial information concisely which focuses on drawing out insight
- Experience of owning end-to-end planning process
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation with a focus on commercial partnering
- Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
- System literacy; experience of developing dashboards in PowerBI or similar desirable
