**Position Overview**
We are seeking a Junior Corporate Finance Analyst to join our dynamic city-based corporate finance team.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Consult with clients to identify financial, investment, and business objectives, risk tolerance, and preferences and to identify specific areas to be examined.
- Mine corporate data and cleanse, analyse and interpret data to describe and infer particle trends and provide information in a clear manner to management and clients.
- Prepare financial data books and core financial analyses such as quality of earnings, working capital, and net debt, ensuring data integrity at all times.
- Prepare and present clear and concise findings, reports, and recommendations to senior team members and clients.
- Use numerical analysis to monitor performance in key drivers and success of implemented strategies, propose improvements and report back to clients on success of strategies
- Participate in management Q&A sessions and client meetings as required.
- Develop, implement, and monitor tailored corporate financial plans and adjust and recast plans as variations are noted.
- Review and challenge key drivers of forecast financial performance, including detailed analysis of business plans, forecasts, and trading trends.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in economics, mathematics or finance.
- 1-3 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or a related financial advisory role.
- Strong analytical and research skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent time management, organisational, and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong work ethic, interpersonal skills, and demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to present findings and recommendations clearly and concisely.
- Commitment to professional growth, ethical standards, and delivering value to clients.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of financial modelling, valuation techniques, and mathematical models.

**Additional Information**
- These positions are based in our Martin Place office and require onsite attendance five days a week.
