**About the Company**:
Davidson Technology are currently supporting a leading Australian Bank with one of the most advanced technological environments in the country.
We are seeking Solution Designer for a 6-month initial contract position, with a daily rate of up to $1,100 including superannuation.
**About The Role**:
In this role, you will be responsible for providing leading and driving definition of the end-to-end solution design for the project/program, in a way that complies with the Solution Architecture.
You will be responsible for ensuring the solution design will deliver against project/program requirements and document the solution, as well as identifying and resolving any potential gaps in the solution architecture.
You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a heavy focus on project work. The focus of your work will be on the development and enhancement of microservices within a mature cloud environment.
**About You**:
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
- Strong design/architecture and development experience, ideally within the financial sector
- Strong experience in Java, Python development and delivering solutions using cloud native services.
- Systems Integration experience in complex technology environments involving API orchestration including REST, SOAP and Message based integration.
- Strong experience in the development and design/architecture of microservices
- Experience working in cloud environments and hands-on experience with cloud native technologies.
**Additional experience in the below would be highly desirable**:
- Experience working within a large financial institution
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to negotiate and liaise with various areas of the business
- Relevant certifications such as Azure or AWS
