**About Us**
- Santos provides reliable, affordable energy for progress and seeks to provide lower carbon energy over time.
Santos is a global energy company with operations across Australia, Papua New Guinea, Timor-Leste and the United States.
At Santos, our goal is to be a global leader in the energy evolution to low-carbon fuels that help the world decarbonise and continue to provide the reliable, affordable energy the world needs for modern life and human progress.
Santos is an important Australian domestic gas supplier and LNG supplier in Asia. We are committed to supplying critical fuels such as oil and gas, and abating emissions through carbon capture and storage, energy efficiency projects, use of renewables in our operations and high-quality offsets. Santos will also seek to develop low-carbon fuels as customer demand evolves.
For 70 years, Santos has been working in partnership with local communities, providing jobs and business opportunities, safely developing natural gas resources and from there powering industries and households.
Santos seeks to deliver long-term value to shareholders through our diverse portfolio of high-quality, long-life, low-cost oil and gas assets, carbon storage resources and infrastructure.
The Santos portfolio is value accretive and resilient across a range of decarbonisation scenarios. Santos has a climate transition action plan that will continue to evolve for the global energy evolution.
Santos has a regional operating model with a strong local focus. The Company’s operating structure comprises three regional business units focused on enabling and executing corporate strategy. Two divisions - Santos Energy Solutions and Santos Upstream Gas and Liquids - are accountable for global portfolio management and strategy.
**About the Role**
- Based in our global headquarters in Adelaide, Santos is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a **Field Training Coordinator**. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with internal stakeholders, including site field leaders and competency assurance teams, to ensure the efficient coordination and administration of training for our employees working in field sites across Australia, both onshore and offshore.
The primary objection of the Field Training Coordinator is to plan and coordinate training activities for field employees, utilising a competency-based matrix of training items. This role plays a crucial part in supporting operational compliance and ensuring timely processing of training requests.
**Key accountabilities include**:
- Participating in the creation of an annual training calendar, based on location-specific requirements.
- Planning and coordinating training programs, considering participant details and external provider availability.
- Developing and managing a site-based training budget that captures competency-based training needs and ongoing costs.
- Maintaining training booking calendars, track course registrations, spend, and provide timely, accurate reports to senior management.
- Scheduling classes and ensure accurate training records are maintained in the Learning Management System (LMS), including reviewing and approving certificates.
- Working closely with Competency Assurance and Field Team Leaders to monitor training requirements and ensure provider service delivery.
- Maintaining clear communication with participants and field leaders, ensuring maximum attendance at courses. Deliver quarterly field reviews to discuss key programs and compliance.
- Processing and managing invoices, ensuring they align with agreed contracts or Master Service Agreements (MSA).
- Collaborating with the Team Leader on various projects, improvement initiatives, and other ad-hoc duties. Ensure compliance with the Santos Management System (SMS), Delegation of Authority (DOA), and corporate governance and safety requirements.**About You**
- To be successful you will bring strong organisational, problem solving and administrative skills to this role. The ideal individual will possess excellent communication and customer service abilities, demonstrating a corporate-level approach in all interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
You will thrive in a team environment, showing initiative, your ability to multitask and a keen attention to detail, especially when handling large volumes of data. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is essential to the success in this role, and having prior experience in administrative roles within large organisations, particularly in construction, mining, or oil and gas is highly desirable.
