**Your new company**
Our client is a government agency based in Sydney CBD that regulates insurance products within both the Private & Public insurance space. This opportunity has opened as the team has expanded the breath of scope and are well advanced on the journey to be a modern, customer centric, intelligence led risk-based regulator. The Regulatory Operations Manager role will lead a relatively new team to deliver on core activities of premiums and markets regulation and key strategic projects.
**Your new role**
Working as a Regulatory Manager you will;
- Lead a small team of high performing peers
- Guide and support the team to achieve business outcomes
- Run the core operations for premiums and markets regulation, inclusive of reviewing and monitoring insurer pricing and market practices, or monitoring and managing insurer profitability and driving innovation within the NSW Compulsory Third Party scheme (CTP)
- Analyse data and identify any emerging high-risk trends or patterns of non-compliant activity
- Provide advice, insight and recommendations to enable effective insurer supervision and regulation
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful as a Regulatory Manager, you will have;
- At least 5 years experience in General Insurance products preferably within CTP, or similar experience in prudential regulation
- A background in underwriting or insurance pricing would be preferable
- Track record of successfully leading teams to deliver outcomes
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- The ability to prioritise and effectively manage a busy workload
- An analytical mindset with an ability to provide insight based on experience.
