Australia's first Mini Excavator Park, Dig IT is looking for our newest Team Leader

Dig IT is looking for a passionate, energetic, and fun-loving leader to take charge of our site at Thunderbird Park.

As the Dig IT Team Leader, you'll manage and oversee the Dig IT site, staff and operations. You will also supervise our Activity Supervisors and guide our Dig IT guests, ensuring they have a safe and unforgettable experience operating our mini-excavators. This role requires strong communication, exceptional customer service, and the ability to inspire a fun, inclusive team environment, managing safety and compliance aswell.

**Main Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and provide guidance to Activity Supervisors
- Supervise and assist participants in the operation of the 1.7T mini excavators to ensure safety and proper use of the equipment.
- Provide clear and concise instructions to participants to ensure they get the most out of the experience including providing and informative and engaging safety induction.
- Monitor the activity areas and respond promptly to any safety concerns or issues that arise.
- Bring the experience to life with your vibrant personality and strong communication skills
- Contribute to a fun and inclusive team environment
- ‘Finger on the Pulse’ across all facets of the business. Admin>Operations
- Stocktaking/ordering
- Procurement/Quoting/Picking up materials-Bunnings/Diesel/Ithaca
- Liase and execute arrangements with Suppliers

**Experience**:

- Customer service roles, preferably involving children - required
- Supervisory - required
- Public speaking or similar - required
- Excavator equipment/general machinery - desired
- Ute - desired

**Skills**:

- Intermediate technology skills
- Microsoft office
- Booking/Reservation software
- Social media
- Rostering
- Charismatic and energetic personality with very strong communication skills and an fun and entertaining personality
- Experience in a customer-facing role required
- Passionate about delivering a world-class experience to guests and team members
- Trustworthy and reliable
- Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure safety procedures are always followed
