**Fixed Term, Part-time Opportunity**

Little Mountain Church of Christ has an opportunity for a Team Lead to join us on a Fixed Term, Part-time opportunity, for Three years, working 24 hours per week.

From a posture of humility and servanthood; the Team Lead will, work with elders and other members of the Ministry Leadership Team to provide leadership, in the development of discipleship culture at Little Mountain Church of Christ (LMCofC).

In doing this, the Team Lead will facilitate the development and outworking of the LM CofC Vision and Values through, coordination of overall church ministry, encouragement, and spiritual formation; equipping the church family to fulfill its God given purpose.

**The Team Lead will have responsibility and oversight at LMCofC for**:

- Providing spiritual leadership;
- Identifying and developing staff and volunteers for participation on the Ministry Leadership Team;
- Assisting in coordination of corporate worship activities and ministries of the church.

**The Team Lead will also contribute to**:

- Leadership in missional ministry at campus, the local community and beyond;
- The provision of pastoral care support for the congregation and community.

**Key Areas**

Building a discipleship culture, which flows through these key result areas:

- Leadership and Development;
- Worship Gatherings;
- Pastoral Care;
- Campus and Community relationships and missional opportunities;
- Other duties.

**Leader Qualities**

The person we are looking for will have a deep and maturing love for God and a commitment to serve His people in the church and community. They will have a servant heart, ministering out of humility and grace. In their dealing with people, they will demonstrate integrity, wisdom, gentleness and a sense of fun.

Their approach to leadership will align with a team leadership model, promoting collaboration, unity and development of others. They will have experience building and equipping teams of leaders and volunteers for ministry. They will have a gift for providing long-term vision and strategy. Their ability to prioritise the big-picture and delegate tasks effectively will help keep the team and church moving forward. They will model ongoing personal spiritual formation and self-care within the context of the team.

They will have a missional heart that knows it is not "all about us" and so will focus on discipleship; encouraging the whole body of Christ to see them grow in their faith and individual giftings.

A Qualification in Bachelor Level in Ministry or Theology, or equivalent experience, is considered highly desirable.
