**About the team**

As a key leader reporting to the Infrastructure Director, you'll shape our Cloud Center of Excellence and drive a culture where engineers thrive with mínimal bureaucracy, while delivering transformative cloud solutions that empower both our organization and our customers' success.
**Your day-to-day**:
- Drive product leadership of the cloud platform by maintaining a strategic product roadmap, prioritizing customer needs, and translating business requirements into technical solutions while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards.
- Lead and mentor platform engineering team leads through agile methodologies, fostering a culture of innovation and autonomous decision-making while removing obstacles to help engineers focus on high-value technical work.
- Manage the platform service catalog and lifecycle, continuously evaluating and implementing new cloud services, establishing proper governance frameworks, and ensuring robust documentation for internal and external customers.
- Oversee platform reliability and performance by implementing comprehensive monitoring solutions, establishing efficient incident management processes, and driving automation initiatives to reduce manual operations and technical debt.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization and external customers to gather requirements, provide regular platform status updates, and ensure cloud services meet evolving business needs while maintaining strong relationships with AWS and Azure.
**To be successful in this role you will demonstrate**:
- 7+ years of experience in cloud platform engineering / product management roles, with technical knowledge of AWS and Azure services, infrastructure as code, and modern DevOps practices, including previous hands-on experience building and operating large-scale cloud platforms.
- Proven track record of leading and growing high-performing engineering teams, with experience implementing agile methodologies and fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence.
- Strong product management skills including roadmap development, stakeholder management, and the ability to balance technical decisions with business value, demonstrated through successful delivery of complex cloud infrastructure projects.
- Experience with cloud governance, compliance frameworks (e.g., CIS, ISO27001), and security best practices, coupled with a deep understanding of cloud cost optimization and operational efficiency strategies.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities, with demonstrated success in working across organizational boundaries, influencing senior stakeholders, and translating complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience), with relevant cloud certifications (AWS/Azure) and experience in platform engineering, site reliability engineering, or similar technical leadership roles.
