**Your day to day**
You will be responsible for leading and managing a hybrid housekeeping team to ensure guest rooms and hotel spaces are cleaned to the highest standard in line with our IHG Clean Promise. Cleanliness has always been critical in hotel operations and in the current climate the housekeeping department plays a vital role in ensuring the wellbeing of our guests.

You will manage the daily housekeeping operations of rostering, room allocations and inspections in line with business needs. It is essential that you and the team you lead have eye for detail and strong sense of purpose in the role you play in ensuring we provide our guests a prefect room every time and deliver memorable guest experiences. Managing workplace health and safety, supplier relationships and maintaining exemplary collaboration with other hotel departments is all part of your day to day.

**What we need from you**
- Previous experience in a similar role within a professional hotel environment and in a similar size property
- Strong organisational skills, time management and ability to manage spontaneous requests
- Experience in workforce management with rostering in line with hotel activity and manning forecasts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate with varied audiences
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders and external providers and suppliers
- Sound knowledge of risk management and health and safety best practices
- Unlimited right to work in Australia and ability to work on a rotating roster including weekends
