**Welcome to Punthill Sunshine**

We’re a brand new hotel, having opened in September 2024 As a result, we’re looking for a Housekeeping Manager to join the team and wider Veriu Group family.
- 90 Apartments - mix of Studios through to Three Bedroom Apartments
- Facilities include gym & conference/ meeting spaces
- 450m walk from the Sunshine Train station and free onsite parking for team

**Responsibilities**

Reporting to the Hotel Manager, you’ll be part of a small team of genuine people, looking to create lasting memories and exceptional experiences for each and every guest. No day will be the same, but each day you’ll strive to:

- Housekeeping team operations management, recruitment and training, rostering & timesheet approvals
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel's guest rooms, common areas and facilities
- Implement & maintain our 'Veri-Best' housekeeping processes and policies within the team
- Manage deep cleaning schedules, repair escalation, housekeeping projects, and budgets to metrics/targets
- Conduct audits & checks to ensure compliance within housekeeping
- Build strong and authentic relationships with your teammates and our guests
- Ensure a clear line of communication between housekeeping and other teams within the hotel
- Provide support and assistance to the Hotel Manager and be the housekeeping expert

**About You**

The successful person must have:

- Approved Australian working rights (Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or a Visa with approved working rights)
- First Aid Certificate (or be able to obtain before starting)
- Demonstrated experience leading a team with kindness in order to achieve outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve, work together with departments, and manage budgets
- High standards of attention to detail, cleanliness and communication skills (written & verbal)
