**The Opportunity**:
An opportunity has become available for a technically minded person with proven experience to join our Service department as Area Manager for the South East Queensland region.

Reporting to the Construction Service Manager, the purpose of this position is to:

- Manage all elements of the Parts and Service departments to achieve growth and profitability
- Establish a parts and service department business plan with a focus on business development and product support
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with all relevant and applicable employment related legislation
- Prepare and analyse annual income and expenditure budgets, control expenditure and monitor income
- Identify training and development requirements within the Service department team
- Manage assets including vehicles, tooling and customer support stock.

**Salary/Wage Band**:Attractive Salary including vehicle or vehicle allowance plus potential yearly bonus

**Roster**:Monday - Friday

**Your Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:

- 10+ years prior experience in Parts and Service operation within the mining/construction sector.
- Extensive prior experience managing and controlling expenditure budgets.
- Strong communication skills and business development capabilities.
- Proven experience in planning and implementation of after sales marketing programs.
- Capable of being a highly competent leader with team building skills.
