Click here to learn more about how **we can make an impact together** For a sneak peek into life at allnex, don’t miss our **Operator Movie** **Position overview**: Are you passionate about **Process Safety Management (PSM)** and ensuring a safe and compliant work environment? allnex invites you to join us as a **Process Safety Management (**PSM)**Coordinator**in Wacol QLD**, and you’ll play a key role in driving safety culture, managing safety programs, and ensuring our site meets global SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) standards. You’ll work closely with maintenance, operations, and SHE teams to keep our processes safe, compliant, and efficient. If you're someone who thrives on problem-solving, continuous improvement, and making workplaces safer for everyone, this role is for you **Responsibilities**: - Ensure **process and plant safety activities** align with the highest safety and industrial standards. - Champion a **strong PSM culture**—support investigations and implement **Process Safety Management (PSM)/**Mechanical Integrity (MI) programs** to keep equipment safe and reliable. - Provide training and guidance on PSM principles, safety practices, and emergency response procedures. - Maintain **Process Safety Information (PSI)**, including technical standards and P&IDs. - Collaborate with Maintenance teams on preventive maintenance and hazardous area dossiers. - Lead **risk assessments** to identify hazards and recommend controls. - Maintain auditable safety procedures and records to meet regulatory requirements. - Support and actively participate in safety, environmental, quality, and productivity improvements programs. **Required skills and experience**: - ** 3 years+ of experience** with **Process Safety Management (PSM)**or similar role. - Hands-on experience conducting **Process Hazard Analysis (PHA),** including HAZOP, LOPA, or other risk assessment methodologies. - Strong knowledge of industrial safety regulations and best practices. - Experience in safety culture and SHE/PSM contributions. - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop creative safety solutions. - Excellent communication and leadership skills to engage teams on safety initiatives. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and technical reporting. - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. **Qualifications**: - Degree or certification in a relevant field (e.g., **Process Safety, Chemical Engineering, or SHE Management**). **We offer**: - We are proud to offer an international working experience with a tight-knit network of employees, making it easy to connect and learn from people all across our different functions.
