The Opportunity
As Head of Financial Performance, you will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer to shape and deliver the University’s financial strategy. This is a pivotal leadership role overseeing financial planning and analysis, business partnering, treasury, and capital planning.
You’ll lead a high-performing team and play a key role in enhancing financial systems and processes, delivering timely and strategic insights to senior stakeholders, and supporting transformation initiatives across the University.
Key responsibility include:
- Lead strategic financial planning, modelling, and performance reporting.
- Drive business partnering and stakeholder engagement across the University.
- Oversee financial systems development and process improvement.
- Manage treasury, investment, and capital planning activities.
- Champion team development and cross-functional collaboration.
What You’ll Bring
- Tertiary qualification in finance, accounting, or a related discipline, with full professional membership of a recognised accounting body (e.g., CPA, CA).
- Proven experience in senior financial leadership within complex environments.
- Expertise in strategic financial planning, performance reporting, and modelling initiatives that drive organisational impact.
- Demonstrated success in leading transformation projects, including system upgrades, process automation, and digital reporting.
- Collaborative leadership style with a focus on stakeholder service and continuous improvement.
- Experience in treasury, investment, and capital planning will be highly regarded.
