The role
As the Principal Business Officer you will proactively provide expert advice to manage, process, plan, monitor and report on finance, administration, human resources, and information systems to source data and develop reports which aid in the decision making process. You will also liaise, negotiate and assist executives and senior manager in the coordination, planning, monitoring and reporting processes.. The investigation and resolution of complex issues, effective consulation, communication, interpersonal skills, internal and external stakeholder management in an environment of change and evolution is critical to this role.

The successful person
You will have demonstrated high level skills and extensive knowledge of financial, human resources, information management, procurement and contract management processes within the public sector environment. You will also have demonstrated leadership skills, the ability to provide accurate and timely advice on complex issues and high level written communication skills in the preparation of high quality documentation. Demonstrated conceptual, analytical and innovative problem-solving skills and the ability to proactively develop and implement flexible and responsive solutions to address issues is required for this role. You will also have the ability to manage projects, undertake research, interpret trends and provide detailed interpretation and analysis of documentation, and advice regarding policies, strategies and actions.
