**Job Title**: On-the-Floor Production Supervisor

**Location**: Equilibrium Manufacturing — Production Floor
**Reports To**: Operations Manager

**Role Summary**

This isn’t a desk job. It’s a boots-on-the-ground leadership role in a fast-paced production environment. As our Production Supervisor, you own the floor. You command the workflow, lead the team, and take full responsibility for outcomes.

Your role is to **deliver results** — fast, clean, and within budget. You don’t wait for solutions — you create them. You lead by doing, and your team moves because you do. This is a **performance-first**, **hands-dirty**, no-excuses position for someone who thrives on structure, accountability, and constant motion.

**Core Responsibilities**
- **Run the floor.** Coordinate and oversee batching, packing, machine setups, and changeovers with precision and urgency.
- **Lead with clarity.** Set the pace and tone — your team follows your example.
- **Drive KPIs.**:

- Hit targets for **cost per unit**,
- Keep rosters lean and functional,
- Deliver within **daily and weekly wage budgets**.
- **Accountability.** You're not just in charge — you're responsible. If it doesn’t get done, you own it.
- **Problem-solve on the go.** Downtime, stock issues, staffing gaps — fix it fast or find a workaround.
- **Manage people like a pro.** Motivate, correct, train, and resolve issues without needing escalation.
- **Uphold quality.** Collaborate with QA and batching to ensure output meets standard every time.
- **Communicate top to bottom.** Report issues up the chain and drive directives down without drama.

**What We’re Looking For**
- 3+ years experience in production or manufacturing (food industry preferred)
- Strong understanding of **cost control**, **labour efficiency**, and **production KPIs**:

- Exceptional people management skills — you know how to lead, delegate, correct, and motivate
- Cool under pressure, decisive when it counts
- Hands-on, no-ego leadership style — gets involved when needed
- Tech/computer literate (rostering systems, shift reports, downtime tracking)

What Success Looks Like
- Floor runs like clockwork — with mínimal input from above
- Batches flow on time, changeovers are sharp, no production gaps
- Cost per unit, wage budget, and output KPIs are consistently met
- Staff respect you and perform because you lead with clarity and consistency
- When something breaks or slows down — you're already fixing it

Pay: $71,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
