**About the Role**:
As a Process Safety Business Partner, you will play a critical role in championing process safety excellence throughout the organization but with a specific focus on a dedicated site based near Biolea, Central Queensland. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, maintenance, and HSE, to ensure that process safety risks are identified, assessed, and effectively managed. Your expertise and guidance will be instrumental in developing and implementing robust process safety systems and procedures that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement a comprehensive process safety strategy and roadmap.
- Conduct process safety audits, inspections, and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on process safety management systems, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and process design reviews.
- Lead incident investigations to determine root causes and develop corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
- Develop and deliver process safety improvement programs to enhance the knowledge and awareness of employees across the site and organisation.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends, regulations, and industry best practices in process safety, and proactively integrate them into our existing systems and procedures.
- Foster a culture of process safety by promoting open communication, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

**About You**:

- Proven experience in process safety management, preferably in a manufacturing, mining, or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of process safety regulations, standards, and best practices
- Demonstrated expertise in conducting process hazard analyses, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ideally bachelor’s level degree in chemical engineering, process safety, or a related field.
