**Position Overview**:
As the Crematorium Facilities Manager/Technician, you will oversee and participate in the day-to-day operations of our state-of-the-art facility, ensuring compliance with all regulations and maintaining the highest standards of service and care. You will play a key role in shaping our operations and culture as we establish our presence in the community.

This is a very hands-on role which will also require getting stuck into the operational activities of the facility.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage the daily operations of the crematorium, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
- Perform operational tasks as needed.
- Supervise staff, providing training and support to maintain high service standards.
- Maintain the facility and equipment, overseeing maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and service quality.
- Contribute to the ongoing strategy and direction of the business.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in facility management, preferably within the funeral or cremation industry.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to service.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices in the industry.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Being comfortable with the “all hands on deck” approach needed by a startup business

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
