Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking a highly motivated Home Loan Specialist to join our team in our
**Newcastle** branch. If you are passionate about helping customers achieve their financial goals and have a track record of delivering results in the mortgage sales, lending, or credit assessment field, this may be the opportunity you have been looking for.

In this sales-driven role, you will have the opportunity to use your technical lending expertise to support our customers with their current and future lending needs. You will be the face of our organisation, building strong relationships with customers and the local community, and helping to create a seamless mortgage experience.

Key responsibilities:

- Meet with potential customers to understand their home lending and banking needs
- Build lasting connections with customers, the bank, and local communities
- Support and mentor other Bankers and colleagues to help them grow and develop
- Provide exceptional customer service by solving problems and ensuring a positive mortgage experience
- Utilise your negotiation and influencing skills to secure successful outcomes for customers

Essential experience:

- Experience in mortgage sales, lending, or credit assessment
- Strong customer focus and commitment to building long-term relationships
- Ability to meet and exceed sales targets, while building and maintaining a sales pipeline
- Proven ability to negotiate and influence outcomes in a similar role
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
