Right now, we’re looking for a **Disability Support Worker** to work with a vibrant client living with **cerebral palsy** in **Heidelberg West, VIC**. **Position Details**
- **Location**: Heidelberg West, VIC
- **Type**: Casual (with the potential for ongoing work and additional clients)
- **Shifts**: Morning and evening shifts available - flexibility is essential
- **Pay**: Competitive hourly rate under a TFN arrangement - no need to worry about tax time headaches, and you’ll have full workplace protections and superannuation contributions.

**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Providing high-quality, respectful support tailored to the needs of a client with cerebral palsy
- Assisting with personal care, meal preparation, household tasks, and mobility support
- Encouraging independence and building confidence through community participation
- Following an individualised support plan to meet physical, emotional, and social needs
- Bringing patience, empathy, and a sense of fun to each shift

**About You**
- Experience working with people with physical disabilities (experience with cerebral palsy highly regarded)
- Ability to manage complex needs while maintaining a calm, positive approach
- Strong communication skills to build trust and rapport
- Interest in music - and if you can play an instrument, that’s a huge bonus
- Flexibility to work both **morning and evening shifts** to meet the client’s needs

**Qualifications (Highly Valued)**
- Cert III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or related field
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport
