**About the Role**

Reporting to the Senior Road Services Officer, the Technical Services Officer leads road inspections, collects data, and provides technical services to maintain the council's asset management systems.

**Duties**
- Conduct scheduled inspections of roads and infrastructure, prioritising areas outlined in the Road Management Plan.
- Address inquiries from customers regarding drainage and road-related inspections.
- Facilitate communication between council departments regarding road infrastructure.
- Assess permit requests for road works and oversee operations.
- Ensure safe, efficient equipment use and maintenance.
- Undertake assigned tasks as directed by management.

**Essential requirements**
- Certificate in Construction, Engineering, Building, Planning, Environmental Services or relevant experience.
- Experience in WHS or risk management.
- Negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- White Card.
- Local Government experience (desired).
- Driver’s Licence.
