The primary purpose of the role is to ensure the effective and efficient management of Rest’s technology service providers. The role needs to ensure that all technology contracts meet Rest’s and regulatory compliance standards and that vendors continue to meet their contractual obligations in regard to performance, risk management and compliance. You will support the General Manager, Enterprise Architecture & Technology in selecting the right service providers and ensuring they deliver optimum value within Rest’s Risk appetite.

**Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities**
- Work closely with DTD leadership to create and maintain sourcing plans for key technology services
- Implement enterprise service provider management policies/frameworks for DTD service providers
- Maintain a RACI identifying the key roles and responsibilities involved in the governance of DTD service providers
- Collaborate with strategic procurement team to ensure that all contracts reflect necessary technology standards including regulatory compliance obligations.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key technology service providers
- Support vendor relationship owners in creating, implementing and maintaining vendor management plans
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to support the resolution of any contractual compliance issues.
- Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, and regulations affecting technology service providers
- Ensure vendor governance forums are run consistently and effectively
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports to senior management regarding vendor performance

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.

**Required experience, understanding or credentials including**:

- Significant experience in vendor management or a similar role within a technology environment.
- Strong understanding of technology management
- Ability to create, implement and work within frameworks to uplift vendor management capabilities
- Experience with vendor risk management platforms and tools.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical staff and senior management.
- Ability to work independently but values a collaborative approach.
