The Supplier Governance team is accountable for the Governance of CommSec and BB Technology. The team ensure that all contracts with suppliers support the needs of the business and that all suppliers meet their contractual commitments.

This is achieved through adherence with our minimum supplier obligations, relationship management, risk management as well as supplier performance management as outlined in the CBA Supplier Lifecycle Framework.

**Your Role**

As the Manager Supplier Governance, you will be active in stakeholder management; the role has impact and contribution across CommSec and Business Banking Technology. The Manager Supplier Governance will report to the Senior Manager Supplier Governance.

The Manager Supplier Governance will liaise with:

- Leadership across CommSec and BB Tech
- Technology Chief Controls Office (Line 1 Risk) team
- SMEs such as Cyber, Privacy, Business Continuity, Incident Management and BB Supplier Governance in identifying and mitigating risk issues
- Group Supplier Risk (GSRA)
- Contract Managers, and Business Owners and their delegates to identify risk exposures and to provide guidance in managing these risks.
- The BB Technology offshore team.

**Responsibilities**:
Adhere to The Code of Conduct, which sets the standards of behaviour, actions and decisions we expect from our people.

Manage the CommSec & BB Tech team including:

- Coordinate the commercial negotiations and supplier risk assessments for all CommSec & BB Tech contracts such that the Bank is not exposed to risk arising from expired or changed arrangements
- Ensure that completion of control programmes are conducted as and when agreed or necessary
- Drive engagement with Business Owners and Service Owners for contract on-boarding and contract renewals specific to CommSec & BB Tech-owned suppliers.
- Liaise with Enterprise Procurement and Partnerships (EPP) for contract on-boarding and contract renewals in which CommSec & BB Tech leverages services with group owned suppliers
- Liaise with Application Service Providers (ASP) and other preferred partners for the execution of service orders and statements of work for the provision of services for CommSec.

Enforce the **Supplier Lifecycle Framework **for CommSec & BB Tech including:

- Actively manage suppliers’ responsibilities to adhere to the Group’s supplier minimum obligations
- Monitor supplier compliance with commercial arrangements, performance, and the value derived and appropriately manage any instances of non-compliance and any opportunities for improvement
- Maintain and manage our supplier documentation repositories and uplift assets to reflect current state CommSec & BB Tech supplier universe
- Maintain **Stakeholder and Customer Relationships **with key CommSec & BB Tech suppliers with a focus on:

- Central Technology contact for all suppliers engaging with CommSec
- Ensure supplier performance meeting cadence with relevant stakeholders is followed
- Report and socialise suppliers adherence to contractual obligations
- Attendance and participation in CommSec & BB Tech domain scrums
- Attendance and participation in CommSec NFRC Tech sub-co

Prepare reports for:

- Business owners
- NFRC
- Commsec Supplier Governance forum

Undertake any other tasks assigned by the leadership team that you have the capability to perform safely in line with relevant internal Group policies and external regulatory requirements.

Skills and Experience:

- **Risk Mindset **-All CommBank employees are expected to proactively identify and understand, openly discuss and act on current and future risks.
- Experience working in technology, preferably in the finance industry
- Experience in procurement, including reviewing commercial arrangements with technology suppliers; including in outsourced environments
- Experience in managing a team to develop contracts and manage commercial arrangements
- Able to analyse, rationalise and articulate the practical implications of commercial arrangements
- Customer Focus & Time Management: The capacity to work in a busy, competitive environment and the ability to meet objectives/targets and deliver customer service

**Desirable**:

- Degree in IT or related business discipline
- Experience in Line 1 Risk
