Light Engine Technician

**About Us**

We are a family run multi-brand construction equipment dealer located in Kilsyth, Melbourne. We specialise in compact earthmoving equipment from reputable Australian, German and Italian manufacturers. We sell, service and repair a wide range of equipment from Excavators and Skid-Steer loaders to light compaction and concreting equipment.

**The Position**

Working on small engines and light construction equipment such as jumping jacks, floor saws, generators, compactors, pumps, concrete vibrators and other concreting equipment. This includes routine preventative maintenance to diagnosis and repair of engines, mostly petrol. You will also be working with the sales team in pre-delivering new equipment sold. The position is full time, with overtime and may include some travel to other sites around Melbourne.

**The Successful Applicant**

The successful applicant will possess the following attributes:

- Trade qualified mechanic
- Experience in small engine repairs, servicing and diagnostics
- Knowledge of small engine parts and their functions
- Participate in testing, recall/rework investigations and/or other activities as they arise
- A commitment to high quality standards and work ethic
- Great communication skills
- Enthusiasm and a self-starter being able to work unattended
- Attention to detail, ability to read basic job cards
- Ability to keep workspaces tidy and adhere to workplace safety procedures

**Salary**: $38.00 - $43.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
