THE OPPORTUNITY
Mulpha Hospitality are currently seeking a talented and experienced Wedding & Event Coordinator to join our team. As a Wedding and Event Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in creating unforgettable experiences for our clients and ensuring the smooth execution of weddings and events. We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented individual with exceptional communication and customer service skills.

**Responsibilities**:
Work closely with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and requirements for their wedding or event.
Coordinate and manage all aspects of weddings and events, from initial planning to final execution.
Assist clients in selecting suitable venues, vendors, and event services.
Coordinate with vendors, such as florists, caterers, photographers, and musicians, to ensure seamless collaboration and delivery of services.
Create detailed event timelines and production schedules to ensure all activities are executed smoothly.
Oversee event setup and breakdown, ensuring that all elements are arranged according to the client's specifications.
Manage event budgets and financial transactions, including contract negotiations and payment tracking.
Provide guidance and support to clients throughout the planning process, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
Coordinate and communicate effectively with the venue staff, ensuring all logístical requirements are met.
Ensure exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction during events.
Handle any unexpected challenges or troubleshooting during events.

**Requirements**:
Proven experience as a Wedding and Event Coordinator or similar role.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and work effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.
Attention to detail and a passion for creating memorable experiences.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to handle stressful situations with composure and professionalism.
Knowledge of wedding and event planning processes, including vendor management, budgeting, and logistics.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
A positive attitude, creativity, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Current RSA and own transport.
