**About the Role**

Coordinate medical examinations for Dust Diseases Care (DDC) clients with various providers in an efficient and timely manner using analytical skills to interpret medical information and provide quality, consistent and relevant data to support the Medical Assessment Panel decisions.

**Duties**

It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as a **Client Services Officer** you will:

- Coordinate medical examinations effectively and efficiently using screening providers and Lung Screening services to meet the needs of our clients and case manage matters which may impact on the determination of Clients’ medical condition.
- Coordinate lung screen visits and liaise with local councils and business chambers to locate and secure the most suitable facilities for Lung Screen services.
- Prioritise workloads and workflow to ensure customers receive the right information in a timely manner.
- Liaise and collaborate with clients, their families, employers and multiple jurisdictions / medical service providers to obtain medical information and records in accordance with the privacy and freedom of information procedures.
- Maintain up to date information to enable decisions about appropriate next steps, complying with systems and processes, to ensure that all information is accurate, stored correctly and accessible to the wider team.

**Skills & Experience**
- Similar administrative based role where you operate with agility and flexibility
- Ideally with a medical/health background and/or comprehensive understanding of medical terminology
- Excellent analytical, client service and administration skills.
- You are empathic and compassionate and able to work with clients and their families as they manage a dust disease illness.
- You have excellent time management skills and are able to juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Your ability to liaise and coordinate with many internal and external stakeholders and service providers is second to none, as are your superior communication skills
