**Create your best future and join Westpac as a Manager, Screening and Regulatory Reporting** - Permanent, Full-time opportunity - Sydney (preferable) - Hybrid working model **What’s the role?** We are seeking a Manager to join the Financial Crime Screening and Regulatory Reporting team. You will support compliance with Financial Crime Risk Standards and ensure the effectiveness of customer and payment screening, as well as regulatory reporting. Responsibilities include analysing screening capabilities, testing system changes, and identifying improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. You will also design and develop detection scenarios to address emerging risks and assess transaction data to ensure accurate regulatory reporting. **What do I need?** - Experience in data analytics and detection management relevant to Financial Crime (including Sanctions) customer and payments screening, and / or regulatory reporting (IFTI and TTR). - Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, such as: Mathematics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Risk or Business Analysis - Advanced analytics skills, with strong programming skills (preferably in SAS, SQL and / or Python) - Data manipulation and transformation skills. - Ability to identify trends and insights and convert those insights into business recommendations. - Prior experience using data change management platforms for example BitBucket, Git and / or SourceTree. **Why join us?** We’re obsessed with becoming our customers #1 banking partner for life and we’re looking for people who are passionate about helping us achieve that goal.
