**The opportunity**
This is a full-time in office property-based role in the Southern suburbs of Melbourne. The successful applicant will work closely with existing conveyancing team.

The successful applicant’s responsibilities will be property based and will include:

- Assisting in the running of commercial, residential and off-the-plan conveyancing files from inception to completion.
- Drafting correspondence associated with conveyancing transactions. including Section 32 Statements and Contract of Sale documentation.
- Arranging and attending to settlements including:

- Completion of Duties Online statements;
- Calculating and preparing Statement of Adjustments
- Attending to settlements on the Property Exchange Australia (PEXA) platform
- Arranging and lodging settlement documentation
- Liaising with clients, banks and when required the Land Titles office and State Revenue Office.

**Skills and experience**
Ideally, you will have a minimum of 2 years experience working in general residential conveyancing.
- Strong communication skills with particular focus on client relationships;
- excellent organisation skills with the ability to multi task, manage competing priorities, and keep calm under pressure;
- good problem-solving skills with the ability to take initiative and be resourceful;
- an approachable manner in order to assist others in a team environment;
- the ability to develop and maintain productive working relationships;
- personal drive, integrity and honesty;
- a desire and ability to grow professionally;
- a high level of respect for colleagues, peers and clients; and
- Experience with PEXA, SRO Duties Online (essential) Dye and Durham Conveyancing Manager and or ActionStep (desirable) ; and the right applicant should be familiar with Microsoft Office software in a modern office environment.
