**Your Team**
The purpose of our Merchandise Planning team is to improve the customer purchasing experience by ensuring product is available for customers either in store or online in the right location at the right time whilst focusing on improving inventory efficiencies and delivering commercial outcomes for the business.
**Your Role**
Reporting into the Merchandise Planner you will maximise category profit and sales contribution through detailed allocation of inventory into Stores & Distribution Centres. In addition to assisting the merchandise planner in all aspects of stock allocation, replenishment and inventory management, you will be responsible for:
- Allocating inventory to assist the category in achieving its sales, gross profit and inventory targets
- Maintaining accurate category inventory data
- Ensuring relevant stakeholders are regularly updated on the inventory requirements within the category
**About you**
- Great with learning new processes, systems and technology
- Enjoy critically analysing data to enable you to report on activity in an informed way
- Excellent communication skills coupled with accuracy and meticulous attention to detail
- Some experience in retail operations will be useful but not compulsory if you are willing to learn
